World Indigenous People's Conference on Education 2014

Te Papa Tākaro o Te Arawa travelled over to Hawaii in May to present at the World Indigenous People's Conference on Education (WiPC:E).  

 

WIPC:E is the largest gathering for indigenous education in the world.  The conference attracted many highly regarded experts in indigenous education so the conference was not only a stage for TPTOTA to share their concepts and working models but an opportunity to interact and exchange with other indigenous leaders in their fields.

 

Te Papa Takaro are back from Hawaii and constantly expanding on their presentations from WiPC:E; focusing on how they can apply the trip, the connections made, the knowledge they were exposed to and other situations to their mahi in Te Arawa.
