Makuini is the Rangatahi Programme Coordinator at Te Papa Takaro o Te Arawa.  Rangatahi are the leaders for tomorrow, so their skills and talents must be nurtured to help them realise their potential.  Makuini is currently developing the Te Arawa Rangatahi Committee and Te Arawa Rangatahi Toiora groups to open up a space for Rangatahi to learn, to be challenged physically and mentally and to contribute ideas to help shape the future of Te Arawa.

 

Makuini gives back to her community by coaching and managing various sporting teams including touch, netball and Kī O Rahi.
